Our Dental Hygienists
An integral part of our practice is our team of Dental Hygienists. Mattina, Sahar, Nicole, Stacey and Michelle are highly trained professionals who strive to provide the best possible care. They are a cohesive unit committed to ensuring we maintain as many of our patients with their natural teeth as possible.
All our dental hygienists have completed a two year program of study, are registered with AHPRA and must follow the standards of practice and ongoing continuing education requirement.
Our hygienists are not just ‘tooth cleaners’. They are integral members of our team responsible for professional treatment that leads to prevent periodontal disease and dental caries (decay). They plan and implement treatments and evaluate individual oral care needs closely with our dentists.
They are also trained in the provision of dental fissure sealants and all aspects of tooth whitening procedures, including the popular in-chair whitening services.
